Dr. Heeyoon Kim earned her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. She is committed to staying at the forefront of optometric care and continually pursues ongoing education to bring the latest advancements in eye care to her patients.

Dr. Kim believes in the importance of providing thorough and comprehensive eye examinations, carefully tailoring each evaluation to the unique visual and ocular health needs of every patient. In addition to routine vision care, she has extensive experience performing medical eye evaluations and diagnosing and managing a range of conditions, including eye infections, glaucoma, and other ocular diseases.

She has a particular clinical interest in dry eye disease and myopia management. Using advanced diagnostic technology and evidence-based treatment approaches, Dr. Kim helps patients find lasting relief from dry eye symptoms while improving overall ocular comfort and eye health. She also develops individualized myopia management plans designed to slow the progression of nearsightedness in children and protect their long-term vision.
